The Babolat Viper Juan Lebron 3.1 2027 is the racket Lebron plays with, and Babolat haven’t changed much inside it. You get the same recipe as the 3.0: diamond shape, head-heavy balance, 3K carbon face, carbon frame and a Hard EVA core, at 370g (+/-10g) and 38mm thick. The obvious change is the look, with the new green and pink Lebron colours.
On court it’s all about the top end. Smashes and viboras come off heavy when you catch them clean, and the Dynamic Stability System (the reinforced bar in the heart of the racket) keeps the head steady on hard volleys at the net. The raised 3D Spin pattern gives you extra bite on slice and kick smashes.
It asks a lot back. The sweet spot is on the small side, the Hard EVA gives you little help on late defensive balls off the glass, and 370g in the head gets heavy in long matches. If you’re an advanced player who attacks and has the timing for it, this is the one in the Lebron range to go for. If you want more comfort, look at the Viper Soft 3.1. If you’re still building your game, the Veron 3.1 is the easier option.

The Viper 3.1 is Lebron’s racket and it plays like it. Head-heavy diamond, 3K carbon face, Hard EVA core, 370g. When you catch a smash or vibora clean, the ball comes off heavy and fast, and the head stays steady on hard volleys at the net.
Inside it’s basically the 3.0 with new colours, so if you liked that one you’ll like this. It’s not forgiving though. The sweet spot is small, late balls off the back glass are hard work, and you’ll feel the weight by the third set. For advanced players with good timing who want to finish points, it’s the pick of the range. If you want a bit more comfort, go for the Viper Soft.
